Lymphatic Drainage and GLP-1 Medication

Lymphatic Drainage and GLP-1 Medications in Orem, UT

Exploring wellness services while taking a GLP-1 medication? At Whole Body Cleansing & Wellness in Orem, Utah, we offer Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy (L.E.T.), also called electro-lymphatic drainage. Our team can explain the appointment experience and answer questions as you consider your options.

What Is Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy?

L.E.T. is a noninvasive, device-assisted service that combines light-touch techniques with specialized equipment. It differs from traditional manual lymphatic drainage, which relies on hands-on massage techniques. Visit our lymphatic drainage therapy page to learn more about the service available at our center.

Your lymphatic system helps move lymph fluid through the body and plays an important role in immune function. When lymph drainage is impaired, fluid can build up and cause swelling known as lymphedema.

What to Know Before Scheduling

Medications such as Wegovy® can delay stomach emptying and cause constipation, nausea, and abdominal bloating. Discuss persistent symptoms with your prescribing provider before choosing a wellness service to address them.

New or unexplained swelling also deserves medical attention rather than an assumption that your lymphatic system needs treatment. Seek prompt medical care for sudden, painful, or unexplained one-sided leg swelling.

Before booking, discuss the specific L.E.T. service with your healthcare provider and share any relevant medical guidance with our team.

Can L.E.T. Help With GLP-1 Side Effects?

Manual lymphatic drainage is used as part of medical care for diagnosed lymphedema. That does not establish that device-assisted L.E.T. treats GLP-1 side effects or improves weight-loss results. Benefits associated with one technique and medical condition should not automatically be assumed for another.

At Whole Body Cleansing & Wellness, we present L.E.T. as an optional wellness service—not as a treatment for medication-related constipation, nausea, or slowed stomach emptying. Your prescribing provider remains your resource for managing these concerns.
